I have been away and had a wonderful time. I drove to a spiritual retreat in Queensland stopping at a beach for a surf or swim every chance I could. We all need time out.
At the retreat we were doing some healing with each other in a group. I said how I really enjoyed seeing everyone tune into the feeling of the healing. Gavin, with integrity and respect, said ‘wow and that’s coming from Julie, the great healer’.
It made me think a lot about this.
I am a healer but then again I am not the healer.
Everyone heals themselves.
I have volunteered, I offer opportunity for healing, I talk about it.
Someone wants healing and they contact me, I put my time aside, they come for a session – either in person or by distance. You relax on a massage table and really, you are healing yourself.
BUT WHAT DO I MEAN BY THIS – I AM NOT THE HEALER?
I am a CATALYST for healing.
NOT A CONDUIT, it does not flow from me or through me. I HAVE DRAWN 2 DIAGRAMS THAT EXPLAIN…
I don’t have magic powers that anyone else does not have. It’s that I do the work. Since it found me, I have been offering healing.
Everyone has a life purpose and a path to follow. It is different for everyone. Whats yours? If you work with helping people, this way of seeing the healing you offer it may help you to do it better?
Let me know if you have any questions and I would love to hear what you think about this way of healing?
