Ruby is a cute little ginger female, we thought for sure this was her last chance. A week ago she could hardly move her head and I did some healing for her, WATCH THE SHORT VIDEO HERE. I was away overnight and on return she could not hold her head up, it was almost to the ground, as if her spine had become paralysed. We made a decision it was time to take her for a last trip to the vet.
But then her eyes seemed to look sideways at me and I heard a feint “meow” which means I want some food.
I gave her food which she bolted down so we decided to keep her at home and see what happens. For the next two days I hardly slept, checking on her every two hours and doing healing for a few minutes each time. First night she disappeared and I found her later laying outside, freezing cold. I brought her in and set up a warm heater in the room for her.
Next night she was out again, this time laying in the rain as if she was ready to go, totally paralysed. I left her for a few hours and then could not stand it any longer, I picked her up and brought her in again. I felt for sure she would be gone in the morning.
Around 9.30am found her sitting in the sun with a slight movement in her neck. I could hardly believe it! Then her neck started to move until she regained full movement again. She is quiet but eating five meals a day and looking for more….
They say cats have 9 lives, she is up to about 7 now and still has quality of life so who knows where to from here.
